Like all modern sports halls, our facility can be subdivided in two halves - each containing two badminton courts to give you an idea of the space.
Dividing the sports hall into two haves allows you to hire just one half of the space at a time - a more cost effective option if your group/club only comprises a few players but you still want access to a high quality space.
Why would I go for this option rather than just hiring two badminton courts?
The answer is simple. When customers hire badminton courts, we limit the number in your group to just 4 people per court. If you hire half the sports hall, then you can have as many people as you wish (within reason - and we will talk to you about the limit on numbers when yopu book). Booking half the sports hall is an ideal solution for new/small clubs who want to be able to hold tournaments or classes with medium size groups.
No stilettos or outdoor shoes allowed in this space. Water (in suitable sports bottles) permitted. No other food or drink allowed. Engery drinks are not allowed - no-one likes sticky messes from spillages!

Dance, volleyball, basketball,netball, badminton, indoor football, PE, cricket practice.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Can hire sound system at additional cost £6.50 per hour. Cricket net usage required extended hire period due to set up /removal time.

We do not hire out our climbing wall due to safety considerations.
COST:
The price for hiring half the Sports Hall (with dividing curtain to screen off separate use of the other half) is £45 per hour when you it for a one-off event or tournament.
Discounts are available: book between 2 and 9 sessions and you will pay just £38.25 per hour. Book 10+ sessions and benefit from a reduced price of just £33.75 per hour
Please note that sports bookings of fewer than 10 sessions will incur VAT at the prevailing rate. Bookings of over 10 sessions do not incur VAT.

Partial sports hall booking will not be available if there are no other lettings on site at that time - because we have to ensure we generate enough money to cover the school's costs. At such times only full hire will be available. However, do get in touch to register your interest and we will get back to you if we have enough moeny coming from other activities to allow us to host your booking.
